HK Magazine

Fresh off the Internet press from my favorite expatriate rag (yes, I'm trying to "go native" in the positive sense, but it's hard to cut oneself off from all things familiar and foreign)

I hope that when things settle down with work in December, I can go visit some of these places.

  1. I went to Kitamura Coffee today and had a delicious cup. It was $35, but perhaps a perfect brewing of Brazilian Peaberry beans roasted the same day and ground only seconds before the hot water was added. I also think Cafe Corridor in Causeway Bay is worth a visit. I've heard they roast their own beans there.

  2. Thank you, Cha Bing, for describing your Kitamura Coffee experience. $35 is an excellent price for such finely prepared coffee, so I hope to be following in your footsteps (literally and figuratively) soon. I haven't heard of Cafe Corridor but I'll look it up. Thanks again!

  3. That's the joint across the street from Times Square, if I remembered correctly
